We will go through how to recognise the signs of early labour, this is often confusing because many warm-ups feel like labour. We can tell you the reasons why going to hospital is always advised and give you guidelines for determining when you would choose to go in. Many women go in to hospital too soon and get sent home again which can be demoralising. We will guide you through preparing your birth bag and discuss important points about the immediate post-birth period, for example, routines in the hospital and discharge procedures.
